Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SnapAudit (snapaudit.live) handles when you use the site, and what we do and do not do with it.

The text you paste

• The credit report items you paste, and the details you add to your letter (such as your name and address), are processed in your web browser. They are not sent to SnapAudit's servers.
• Social Security numbers and long account numbers are redacted in your browser. Automatic redaction cannot catch every format, so please review your text before generating a letter.
• So your letter can load after checkout, the redacted items are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. Choosing “Start a new audit” clears them, and you can also clear them by clearing your browser data. Your name and address are not saved.

Payment information

Payments are handled by Stripe. SnapAudit never sees or stores your card number. When you pay, Stripe collects your payment details and email address under its own privacy policy. SnapAudit uses Stripe only to confirm that a payment was completed so we can unlock your letters.

Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on Vercel, which, like most hosts, processes technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested to deliver the site and keep it secure. We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic such as page views. It does not use cookies to track you across sites.

Email

After you pay, we use the email address you gave Stripe at checkout to send you one message with a link back to your letters. We send it through our email provider, Resend, and we do not use that address for marketing. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you send, and we use it only to respond to you. Please do not email Social Security numbers, full account numbers, or other sensitive details.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not store or retain the raw text of your credit report items on our servers.
• We do not share your pasted items with any third party.

Third-party partner links

If you follow a link to a partner, that company's own privacy practices apply. SnapAudit does not send the partner your pasted items or letter details.

Children

SnapAudit is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
